Piero Mejia, MD Pediatric Pulmonary Fellow
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where I attended the School of Health Sciences at San Juan Bautista Private University. In 2012, I moved to the United States and gained experience in primary care pediatrics while working in a private practice in New Jersey.
In 2019, I was given the opportunity to join the research teams at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. After two years of research experience, I began my pediatric residency training at BronxCare Health System in the Bronx, New York.
In 2024, I was honored to join Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Pediatric Pulmonary Fellow, where I am grateful to be part of an outstanding clinical and research team.
